2001Curtiss-Wright acquires Solent&Pratt as a manufacturer of special valves for the energy, petrochemical and chemical industries. At the same time, Strack GmbH is acquired by Phoenix. Phoenix thus expands its product range to include a high-performance manufacturer of shut-off and control valves for energy supply and fluidic process control.
